Gowanus Waterfront Park
Accessible via a dead end on 2nd Street near Bond St in Gowanus, Brooklyn, this secluded waterfront has a beautiful view of the city and of the Gowanus Canal making for a nice and peaceful hangout spot. The neighborhood is also going through a major transformation as rapid redevelopment, including high rise apartment buildings are going up in the area. To get here via subway, take the F or G train to Carroll St or the R train to Union St.

Little Island
Located at Pier 55 in the Hudson River Park on Manhattan's West Side, this new artificial island park opened on May 21st, 2021. This beautiful place features a few concession stands, a stage, and an amphitheater as well as a lot of greenspace. This park is open daily from 6 AM to 11 PM. To get here via subway, take the A, C, E, or L train to 14th St - 8th Av.
